Cyprus makes the ideal holiday destination
A Cyprus holiday offers more options than lying on the beach and clubbing in Ayia Napa. If you’re a group of adults in search of activities and places of historical interest, or a family seeking safe family friendly beaches and plenty to keep the little ones happy, travel to Cyprus to fill your holiday desires. Western Cyprus is the ideal location if you want traditional charm, laid-back living and architectural heritage, whilst Eastern Cyprus is arguably the place to find the island’s best beaches and secluded coves.
Pathos town in Cyprus is one of the island’s most popular resorts, and with good reason as it combines archealogicial history with a cuturally diverse, bustling resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Pathos and has a beautiful harbour and numerous open air cafes and bars. The weather in Pathos and in Cyprus generally is superb with around 300 sunny days each year.
A few miles to the north lies the recently developed resort of Coral Bay which is a quieter resort than Pathos, plays host to one of the finest beaches in the area. There’s a large choice of modern hotels, catering for all your holiday needs. Sheltered by a couple of rocky headlands, the stunning gently shelving sandy beach is a superb choice to chill out and enjoy the sun. Sun beds and beach umbrellas can be rented for the day at reasonable rates. Coral Bay beach also has an excellent beach side bar offering drinks, food and toilet facilities. Coral Bay beach also has a large free car park.
If it’s a late availability holiday to Cyprus you’re looking for, or to be pampered in a luxury hotel, Cyprus is sure to have just what you’re looking for.
