Take Care of Yourself
Important to make healthy choices.
I pride myself in using good quality products while trying to stay healthy.
It has not always been that way for me. Every year I realize my habits are changing and I lean toward healthy choices. A few years back I never took time to read ingredients listed on packages and containers. Now, I find myself turning away from foods with ingredients containing 25 letters in their name. You know the ones I mean, the words you can not pronounce. To my amazement I discovered ALL NATURAL tastes better, feels better and looks better.
Fresh vegetables and fruits taste fantastic and you get to control the additives.
All natural bath products do not leave a slippery film on your skin or in your hair they rinse off entirely and that phase squeaky clean becomes a reality. I was surprised to found out why my all natural shampoo stings if I get it in my eyes. Do you know why over-the-counter shampoo does not sting? It appears that manufacturers add a chemical that numbs your eyes so you do not feel the sting. Mothers beware, remember NO MORE TEARS means chemicals for you and your family.
I am 62 years old so I remember the sting and then the advertisement for baby shampoo with a catching jingle of NO MORE TEARS. Who knew at the time what they did to the shampoo to stop the sting or who would have thought to even question it. Now I know, they added chemicals to protect your child from the sting. Gee, what about protecting your child from chemicals in the eyes.
Lastly, have you tried Mineral Eye Shadow? Oh my what a shock, you really can fool people when you wear mineral makeup. Mineral makeup is not only light on your skin but it covers up all your skin imperfections. What is truly wonderful is that the makeup is not easily detectible so it appears that you are not wearing any at all. My niece uses the mineral eye liner and shadows and raves about the thickness of her lashes and the beautiful shades she makes easily by blending and layering the minerals. I have tried the layering technique by using the makeup on my Lips over a gloss to give them color.
